Since over 15 years I am working in the field of media and retail national and internationally - in leadership and operative positions.
Having a big passion for stories it was always clear to me that I want to live and work in an enviroment which is full of such unique stories. So the world of media got my home: because where do you find more stories than in books, magazines, music and films?
Over 4 years I have been working for one of the biggest media player in Europe - Bertelsmann. I had the unique chance to stay several years in great cities as Vienna, Berlin and Milan. Building up a deep knowledge in the field of marketing management of brands and products in the retail landscape.
Mainly I have been in charge of management and marketing tasks in the field of book clubs and building up a digital e-reading startup as a joint venture from former G+J and Bertelsmann Direct Group.
After this exciting ride I decided for new phase of learning and development - I took a year off to do what I love, too: travelling and getting to know new people, cultures and countries.
I went to New York, Costa Rica and Panama - to meet new & old friends, start yoga and to see the richness of nature. To Sibiria by -40°C to get to know extreme conditions and a totally different part of our world. To Portugal, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Italy, etc. to see the variety of Europe.
What I took with me as a lifetime asset? Travelling alone is getting you out of your comfort zone. Is it always easy and fun? No: but you learn through it to open yourself and build up trust in yourself and expecially in the future not knowing what comes.
Now since over 10 years I am Head of Marketing for Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus - one of the biggest solitaire, retail spaces for books, music, film, stationary and design products in Europe - with over 7000 sm in Berlin and over 1 Mio. products online. Basically a wonderful and totally unique hub for stories in form of products and events as readings, concerts & workshops. Come and visit.
I have the wonderful task and responsibility together with a wonderful, top team to build the brand - a true love brand - and raise sales by managing all the channels connected to as campaigns, cooperations, socials and events. Additionally I am in charge of retail marketing to promote our great products with our partners as publishers, music labels, film distributors and stationary brands. A bunch of different fields with many exciting developments in each area.

I am a mum, into Yoga, fan of good and (if possible due to daily life) healthy food and travelling and much more.
What I care about
Family, friends, animal welfare (growing up with 4 dogs and 7 cats from the streets), our environment - however I am far away from solving this all perfectly. Just trying my best.
